The Japan Exchange South Africa (JESA: alumni association for the JET, scholarship programmes, and exchange programmes participants) was fouded in February 2002 in order to assist future participants and returnees of these programmes who will go to Japan (and return to SA), and to promote exchanges between South Africans and Japanese.
